The restaurant's menu offers a variety of traditional Thai dishes, with particular appreciation for items like pot stickers and summer rolls. The spice levels tend to please those who enjoy moderate heat, though a few mention it can be unusual in its presentation. Overall, Mont Thai Cuisine is regarded as a welcoming local spot with generous portions and a relaxed atmosphere, appealing to both newcomers and Thai food enthusiasts.
Full restarant was first indication people like it. Wait staff was super friendly and fast... in fact, she was hysterical and let me use her reading glasses to look over the menu. Not a thai expert, she helped us select dishes. Loved the peanut sauce and the chicken pot stickers with house sauce, delicious! but not so mush the spring rolls or main dishes. A little bland. Reasonably prced and large portions. Will give it another try and pick something with more spice! May edit review and rating if that changes things.
Food was okay, felt kinda skimped on the protein, service was good however the kitchen was pretty slow. Not sure how they scored so high on average. We won’t be back. And on a side note; the “spice” is more of a pepper- strange.
I stopped in for a bite to eat and couldn’t quite make up my mind, so I left it up to the owner. They pointed me in the right direction and brought out a dish that hit the spot just right. Flavors were on point, and it turned out to be the highlight of my evening.
Fantastic local Thai! I hate that I always find these good hole in the wall places away from home! Food was very good, especially loved the summer rolls. Good spice levels and everything was great. Staff was a lot of fun and attentive. Great local place. If you like Thai, make sure to stop by.
The food was great and Ms. Lovely made our stay so much more enjoyable as if we've known each other for a long time. We will return again when in the area.
We haven't had this good of Thai since Mon was in Branson. Absolutely love the food and the service was wonderful! Worth the 1.5 hour drive down to eat here. Spicy noodles were so good! Best fresh rolls. My husband wasn't with me, but after 5 years since she served us, Mon remembered his order and he loved it even though it was 3 hours since it was cooked. Fabulous food and so good to see Mon again.
